Other information…..
The chateau was bought by the current owners in 2004 for €795,000 and over €300,000 has been invested in its refurbishment. It was run as a successful holiday and event rental with a turnover of €30-€40k per annum (2013 to 2015). The original development plans include the chateau ‘hub’
offering learning, retreats and activities for both visitors and residents; a cafe in the chateau; a multi-functional workshop space in one of the barns; the swimming pool (existing); as well as access to acres of forest and fields on the property.

This will be your own space but can be combined with others’ gardens to make layouts based on permaculture, sharing and mutual cooperation.

Buying a share at Eco Chateau will give you a plot to build your home, and a share of a ‘ready to launch’ business in the chateau.

The total number of full shares will be 21. The idea is that each shareholder will build their own house on their plot and will run their own business from the chateau site, which is already fully equipped for rentals (14+ guests). Each shareholder will be responsible for their own income.
