The finca is located in a beautiful, rural valley nestling between the Rio Chico and the Rio Seco. It’s only an hour’s drive to Granada and just a few minutes away from Orgiva, which is the capital town of the West Alpujarras and next to the natural park Sierra Nevada. The finca sits at 650 metres in a fertile area and has a milder climate than many other places in the Alpujarras. In the surroundings you will find plenty of olive, lemon and orange groves. Orgiva is a very cosmopolitan town, with many nationalities living together, different organic shops, a weekly market and various courses, workshops, retreats and festivals all year long.
The finca itself is in a very quiet location, without any direct neighbours and far away from any traffic pollution. The farm has the following features:

• 3 united farms with their respective deeds 9 self-sufficient houses (restored/built with natural materials); 4 of which are fully legalized, 2 of the houses are eco holiday rentals on Airbnb
• Every house has it’s solar system (12v or 220v,), woodburning stove, compost toilet and most of them a private shower
• 4 houses have mains water from Bayacas.
• There is a 7m diameter yurt with a wooden floor and a circular skylight window in the roof, covered outside kitchen and workspace.
• The finca has irrigation water from the Bayacas irrigation channel (acequia) and a stream that runs through the farm 2/3 albercas (water reservoirs of 7mx3m, 8mx3m)
